Lagerland Apps

20 apps. One maker. No tracking in any of them.

An independent Apple studio in Finland. One person designs, builds, prices, and answers for every app on this sheet. None of them shows you an ad, asks you to sign up, or sends your data to us.

One person makes every app

Lagerland Apps is one developer in Finland making 20 privacy-first apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. The same person designs, codes, tests, and supports each of them, so the person who reads your email about a bug is the person who fixes it.

With no investors and no ad revenue, an app here earns money only when you decide it is worth paying for. That is why no app carries an advertising or analytics SDK, requests the IDFA, or makes you create an account. Your data stays on your device or in your own iCloud. The few apps that go online connect straight to the service they need, such as Wikipedia for WanderWiki or App Store Connect for the developer tools.

The work covers health and training, daily planning, bills, board games and logic puzzles, and tools for App Store developers. Each app does one job.

What one maker means in practice

“Nice app, which has improved my chess as a newbie. I made an improvement suggestion and received an immediate response. This was implemented within days. I love the Training and Learn sections. Stockfish analysis also helps and would recommend.”
P., App Store, about Chessful
“This is how it should be. Maybe a bit technical for most people, but too many apps are making claims without telling the user whether the number is any good. Observa actually shows you the baseline behind the insight.”
I.D., Reddit, about Observa

Frequently asked

Who makes Lagerland Apps?
Lagerland Apps is a one-person, independent Apple studio in Finland that has shipped apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac since 2025. One developer designs, codes, and supports every app. No investors, advertisers, or data brokers are involved, and the studio works under EU law, with the GDPR as the default.
Do Lagerland apps track me or collect personal data?
No. No app requests the advertising identifier (IDFA) or contains an advertising or analytics SDK, and none sends your data to a server run by the studio. Your data stays on your device, and the apps that sync use your own iCloud. Some apps go online for the job they do: WanderWiki loads articles from Wikipedia, and the developer tools talk to App Store Connect and, if you add your own key, to the AI provider you choose. They connect to that service directly. The transparency page lists what each app declares.
Do the apps require accounts or a login?
No. No app asks you to create an account or sign up with an email address. You download it and start. The developer tools (AppMeta, AppMeta Pulse, and Mockly's upload) connect to your own App Store Connect account with an API key you create at Apple.
How do you make money if there are no ads?
The people who use the apps pay for them. Most apps are free to download, with an optional paid upgrade sold as a subscription, a one-time purchase, or both. Mockly is the one app you pay for up front. No advertiser pays for anything.
Do the apps work on iPhone, iPad, and Mac?
Almost every app runs on iPhone, and AppMeta and Mockly are Mac apps. Chessful, Shogiful, Xiangqiful, Taskful Day, and MediaKit also run on Mac. GymLogger X, Observa, and Taskful Day have Apple Watch apps, and EarnLock's Apple Watch app comes with Premium. Many apps also run on iPad. Each app page lists its platforms.
What are the best alternatives to mainstream tracker-heavy apps?
Start with the job you need done. Taskful Day is a day planner for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch that carries unfinished tasks forward on its own. GymLogger X is a strength training log with an Apple Watch app and a lifetime option for Pro. Observa turns your Apple Health data into a daily Readiness score, with all analysis on your device. AllPaid reminds you of bills and contract renewals without connecting to your bank. The comparisons page sets each app against the apps most people know.

Every app page shows what is free, what the upgrade costs, and what the app does with your data, before you tap Get.
